Frome, Somerset

Frome is an ancient town of enormous charm, it's steep streets, old buildings and friendly atmosphere offering plenty of attractions for the visitor. This walk starts off amidst the picturesque buildings of the town centre before following the River Frome downstream into the countryside. It is a hike of mostly gentle gradients (except, bizarrely, on the inaptly named Gentle Street!) and is a perfect introduction to Frome.
